Tournament Rules
The Tournament will be governed by its own rules and subsidiarily by those of the RFEBM and the IHF.

- Each team will play a minimum of 5 games during the tournament, either through a group league system or through a group league system plus crossover knockouts.
- The matches will last 30 minutes in all categories (2 halves of 15 minutes) except in the junior category, which will consist of 4 halves of 6 minutes.
- In the semifinals and finals, the matches will be played in two halves of 20 minutes each, except in the junior category, which will continue to be 4 halves of 6 minutes. Clarify that matches for third place will be played over two 15-minute halves.
The maximum number of players per team in the Tournament will be 20.
- They may not be called for a game more than eighteen. Likewise, no more than four team officials may participate in the same match.
- Each team may request a single time-out during the match, except in the semi-finals, where it may request two time-outs (one in each half). In U10 category, no time out will be granted in any phase of the competition.
- Exclusions will be one minute in all matches except in the semifinals and finals, where exclusions will be two minutes (except in the U10 category, where they will be one minute throughout the tournament).
Meeting schedules is everyone's job. For this, the following mandatory instructions are established:
- The warm-up will take place outside the facility, with the teams not having the possibility of shooting on goal unless the early end of the previous match gave them that possibility.
- The team that appears as local in the calendar will ALWAYS be located to the left of the scoring table and will serve first from the center, therefore the referee's draw is suppressed IN ALL PHASES OF THE COMPETITION. No change of field will be made at half-time in any category except in categories B18 and G18
- In the event that a delay of more than 20 minutes is reached in a playing hall (except in the semifinals and finals), single-time matches of 30 minutes will automatically be played in court handball and 20 minutes in beach handball.
- In the event of a tie on goals in the eliminatory crossover matches, the golden goal will be awarded. Players who are excluded in the last minute of play or in the last two minutes in the case of semi-finals and finals, will not be allowed to enter the field during this time, regardless of whether the exclusion time has already expired. Players excluded during this additional time will also not be able to participate in the game again.
- In group stage matches, victory will give 2 points, draw 1 to each team and defeat 0.
In category U10 and U12 each time of ten minutes will score individually, giving the victory in time 2 points, the tie 1 to each team and the defeat 0. At the end of the match the team that accumulates the most points will be the winner. The winner of the match will obtain two points for the classification, in case of tie, each team will obtain one point, and in case of defeat, zero.
The teams that at the end of the group league are tied on points will determine their final classification based on the following parameters:
- Between two teams
- Results between them
- Better goal difference.
- Greater number of goals in favor.
- Draw carried out by the organization
- Between more than two teams
- Points resulting from a particular ranking among the teams tied.
- Best goal difference between them exclusively.
- Better goal difference considering all teams participants.
- Greater number of goals scored with the intervention of only the equipment tied.
- Greater number of goals scored taking into account all equipment participants.
- Draw carried out by the organization.
In the U10 and U12 categories, in the case of a tie on points, the tiebreaker will
take place:
- Between two teams
- For the result of the match between them.
- For the difference in goals for and against between them in the two periods.
- By the greater difference of periods gained and lost between all group teams.
- By calculating the difference between goals for and against counting all teams in the group.
- Between more than two teams
- For the greatest number of periods won between them
- For the difference in goals for and against between them
- By the greater difference of periods gained and lost between all group teams
- By calculating the difference between goals for and against counting all teams in the group
In those categories in which for the final phase it is necessary to determine the
best second, second best second, etc., the following criteria will be used:
- Greater number of points.
- Greater goal difference.
- Greater number of goals scored.
- Draw carried out by the organization.
- In the event that there are groups with one more participant compared to others in the same category, the results with the last classified will not be taken into account.
Regarding the standards approved and introduced in June 2016, they will be applied
as follows:
- BLUE CARD: It will be applied in all matches of all categories.
- PASSIVE PLAY: It will be applied in all matches of all categories.
- THREE ATTACKS: It will be applied only in category youthful, both male and female.
- SEVEN FIELD PLAYERS: It will apply only in B18 and G18.
- 30 SECONDS: It will be applied in all matches of all categories during the last thirty seconds of the game as well as in case of a tie in crossover matches during overtime in application of the golden goal rule. It should be noted that infractions by sanctionable officials according to rules 8: 9 and 8:10 of the game rules of the RFEBM, as well as the anti-regulatory changes are within this standard.
- Attack-defense changes will not be allowed in any category except on B18 and G18. On If any changes are made when the equipment in which the change no this in possession of the ball, an illegal change will be determined.
- Mixed defenses are not allowed in categories U10 and U12. On case of the referees will stop the match and notify the official responsible of equipment that such defense is not allowed. In case of continuing doing this type of defense, the match will be interrupted again and a throwing of seven meters against the offending team without the possibility of rejecting. Subsequently, the non-offending team will regain possession. It will go back to coming from this mode on successive occasions.
- Resin can only be used in categories B18 and G18. In the event that they are used in other categories, the responsible team official will be progressively sanctioned.
- Players must have their documentation always available, and may be required at any time by the organization. In the semifinal and final matches, documentation (ID or passport) will be requested ex officio.
- Participants of a lower category may participate in teams of the same higher category club, however, a player may not participate in two or more teams of the same category, if he does, the team in which he participated in second place. will be sanctioned with improper alignment. The participation of the same player in two teams of the same category is only foreseen in the case of players who participate with a regional team and also their team participates in the tournament.
